@SallyStrange @ada @JoshuaHolland I’m neither a TERF nor a SWERF, FWIW. But I do think it’s problematic to continue to let “others” (such as the unnamed respondent) define gender instead of each individual for themselves.
@severud For whatever it's worth, the response works well not because it's an attempt to define gender, but because it succinctly exposes the misogyny & toxicity that underpins many (most) attempts to define gender.
