Pretty much what the title says. I’ve disabled show read posts in the settings and even though I mark posts as read, they still show up when I refresh or after closing the app and open it again.

Me too. The dev said he was going to fix it, but I don’t know the timeline.

I think there was a server update.

This read/unread thing is broken on the web frontends and e.g. in Sync too since the v0.19 server updates.
