🚲Bought some more dominoes at the thrift store, including a nice thick double six set and a double 15 which is way more than I need but I’ll just leave 10-15 in a bag in the box and use it as a double 9. I now have 4 sets of dominoes, which honestly is probably too many dominoes for a grown man, and that’s not counting my kids’ dominoes.
I will counsel anyone who will listen to check their thrift store before buying dominoes new. Left is what you get these days for a cheap set new, right is the chunky old boys you’ll find for half the price in your local reseller. They don’t make ‘em like they used to. Our thrift store had three sets like this sitting there today.
