The Subaru Telescope webcam is offline. Here’s a nice horizon and sky view from a camera in Fukushima operated by the same Japanese University who manage the Subaru one.

It’s looking towards the south and the flightpath for Sendai airport. So planes with landing lights periodically appear at the top right and descend to bottom middle and disappear from view. Very spaceship like 😊

The bright object is the Moon. Saturating the sensitive camera.
