@georgetakei Geez, he could have just checked on Wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_inquiry_against_Donald_Trump
@georgetakei and the first Trump inquiry was effectively shut down by the GOP, then in power, who decided not to call any witnesses after Lev Parnas' lawyer sent McConnell a letter outlining who Parnas would implicate in his testimony. The list of names was pretty much the whole Trump administration and some powerful GOP Members of Congress, too.
This whole episode is worth remembering, and the letter is worth reading, at least the first 3 paragraphs. Here's an article about it, with a link to the letter:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/lev-parnas-letter-says-he-has-information-relevant-to-trump-impeachment-trial
Lev Parnas' attorney says the associate of Rudy Giuliani would like to share information with that is βdirectly relevant to the President's impeachment inquiryβ and actions taken in Ukraine βon behalf of the President."
he can't remember the last ketchup bottle he threw at the wall either. carry on
Thank you for saying this
It crystallized why I was so irked reading that post.
