Art question of the day.

When you buy an art print would you rather buy it framed, take it to an frame shop or frame it yourself?

Here is a before and after framing visual of my artwork.

I think a matted frame really takes my art to a new level!

The good news is that you can purchase it already professionally framed and ready to hang right from my website

@ShelliFitzArtist I would rather have it framed at a frame shop. IMO the frame becomes almost a part of the work itself, yet must also integrate within the walls of my home. Art almost always needs to be matted, which gives it a distance from the frame allowing the viewer to focus on the work itself, yet when casually glancing around the surroundings, the frames need to belong within the room. Framing is an art in and of itself.

But some people like the convenience of having it already framed.

@grapeshot Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I can totally relate to your reasoning. One thing I love about my printing partner FineArtAmerica is the variety of frames and mats they offer so a buyer can really personalize the framing.
