@thejapantimes Japanese is supposed to be the hardest language for English-native speakers to learn (and vice-versa). Imagine if young people could overcome that, they'd probably find learning other things a little easier.

Going to anime conventions, I see a Japanese learning institution (I don't recall which one) reaching out to those who wish to learn. A lot of people in the anime community value watching in the original Japanese, so if they can learn it, that's good.
