Even decades later, when we went to a JANM dinner and GT’s husband was sitting at our table, she still didn’t know who George Takei or Sulu were. No offense, dude. OTOH, mom’s sister was friends with Mako, so my mom knew who Mako was. 😁 Both great actors!
