Mark Zuckerberg has announced that they are starting a test where posts from Threads accounts will be available on Mastodon.
In semi-related news, I am announcing that I am starting to write a science fiction novel where the concept is that Mark Zuckerberg clones himself to become more productive, but instead of accomplishing any work all of the clones just end up playing Zuck, Zuck, Goose.
I assume this is a high quality fact. The question I have is, what sort of information can Threads extract thru a Mastodon link? I no longer believe that anything the Silicon Valley Bros do has any higher motivation than profit.
But I suppose it's an interesting question as to what any of them consider 'profit.' They're already making so much money, it must have lost meaning for them except as a way of counting coup.
