I don't get it.
@dannotdaniel @dangillmor If journos are worried about losing thousands of followers, I can understand that.
But they have to think about how many actually see their posts anymore? Shadow bans, random/bogus post deletions, bogus suspensions, priority given to blue check/premium posts and comments (meaning you see negative/troll-ish comments first in many cases).
Maybe some of those followers aren't even active anymore but have dormant accounts to "keep the username."
I wonder if some journos checked their engagement numbers, say year-over-year, or even 6 months ago to today... wonder what they'd find.
