As it's pouring with rain here I'm attempting a impromptu table top session: this being the £4 #ChinonCXii with #Prinzflex 135mm f2. 8 and loaded with #Fomapan400Action rated ISO: 250 which will be dev'd in #FX55. F4. 0 @ 1/30 sec according to #MinoltaAutoMeterIVF. Maybe just too good for the #ShittyCameraChallenge I reckon?
See the two framed prints of Keloggi Orchids in the background... they're VDBs from @analoguelife :-)
@itdm5j21 Great to see a Minolta IV meter in the wild! I love mine
@georgeharito Yes me too, out of all the meters l've used the #MinoltaAutoMeterIVF is my go to tool. I have all three of the heads: dome, flat disc and spot, for it as well, which is a boon. 👍🙂
@itdm5j21 So I took a look at what I have, and I have the V not the IV. But I have the dome and the 5º viewfinder, very cool little tool to have.
@georgeharito The V, I reckon I'd like a lot too, though only seen one, used, for sale but it had a fault.
Kenko make a KFM-1100 the similar/same type as the VI I believe - maybe the V? £300ish. 🤔
@itdm5j21 From what I’ve read, the IV is still very very good, so I wouldn’t blow money on a V if you already have a IV. I bought my V for ~$280 AUD (about £150?) but the viewfinder was very expensive, I accidentally purchased the one with the case from Japan via eBay, cost me about $130 AUD landed (~£70). I was meant to hit ‘Buy now’ on a cheaper one that looked in just as good condition, but no case, and was half the price. Oh well!
@georgeharito Since 'Brexit' I only buy from UK now. That's a shame as I bought good items from other countries previously. 🤔
