@TodayInTwitter I doubt this will cause another exodus of any significance. While everyone at X may not be right wingers, they have largely decided that right-wing hate politics are not a deal breaker.

@Abazigal It’s not about outrage, it’s about the platform becoming worse. If all people see is Alex Jones on their timeline — with no brands posting thanks to Mr. Musk’s antisemitic remarks — they’ll naturally move to other platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Threads which serve them content they’re interested in.

The more bad people are on a website, the more those bad people will be recommended to others (duh). And if people don’t like what they’re seeing, they’ll stop seeing it.
