Duco@iw @mozilla @FirefoxNightly it's a program executed on your computer. As Firefox can access it, why shouldn't they do it on your computer to make your life easier? That doesn't mean that the data leafs your computer. And it's there already. Firefox also shows your files, when you klick on an upload button, to select the file you want to upload. They are not Microsoft. Microsoft sends the URLs to their servers. That's actually bad.
