My mother, Leslie Joyce Silberman, died today. The past few years were very difficult as she struggled with dementia. But she whispered "I love you" to my sister yesterday, and mouthed those words to me two days ago, for which I'm deeply grateful. Thank you for everything Mom. I'll love you forever.
