It's been ages since I've checked this account, which is wild since we used to run a whole ocean science mastodon server.

What's good? And why does the post button say Publish! and not "Toot"?

@DrAndrewThaler The button got renamed a few software versions ago, presumably for extra seriousness. (The Tusky app still says "toot!".)

@DrAndrewThaler A number of admins have kept toot! for their instances but yeah many changes. You can enable your public posts being part of full text search now too. :)

@DrAndrewThaler Way more people here now since you ran your server. The ocean science community is bit thin here though.

@Schlining Yeah, we shifted our focus to populating BlueSky, so we've got a good ocean science community over there.
