Sultan Al Jaber already knows he's f*cked sticking to fossil fuels. Tony Seba told him in person back in Oct:
"The Great Transformation" - TAQA 20th Anniversary Celebration / Dhahran, Saudi Arabia [16 Oct 2023]

Well, he chose his words more wisely and he had quite more powerful arguments on his side than sake of humanity or climate change: Business #Disruption.
What Al Jaber is doing is simple bargaining tactics. Don't fall for it. Don't let him win.
@parents4future āShow me the solutions. Stop the pointing of fingers. Stop it,ā Al Jaber said in the interview.
Sometimes I hope that also rich men like him will suffer from drought, heat waves, devastating floods etc. #climatecrisis But I guess that wonāt happen.
But we all have to act. In many ways. Never trust a #COP28
@parents4future It was clear from day one that the conflict of interest would be enormous.
But no, world āleadersā have happily endorsed this fossil freak show for months. Taking pictures with him, while he played with words and proudly wearing the #COP28 wristband.
And always remember, heās just the most visible part of a massive infestation of fossil fuel interests in COP and climate negotiations.
Wright's law of economics kicks in.
Likewise a higher climate awareness.
"The world would do well to look to Dubai: The fossil fuel industry's last stand is currently taking place there.
And if things go well, the conference will be the beginning of the end."

Tough fight, it's about money and power for a few.
