The thing I'm really interested to know about the cybertruck is where exactly the most efficient spot is to place a thermite charge, and what amount would be appropriate.
@dotstdy is this just hate for Elon? Why even joke about destroying other peoples property?
@CyberCory @dotstdy property is not sacred, human life is (and this thing is designed to kill other people on crash - both pedestrians and other car drivers/passengers)
@BartWronski @dotstdy that’s an interesting perspective. Do you really believe this vehicle was designed to kill people? This isn’t a war machine. Is that the same take on all vehicles?

@CyberCory @dotstdy Not all vehicles in general.

“Musk made a point that in a crash with another vehicle, the Cybertruck—which weighs 6,603–6,843 lbs (2,995–3,104 kg)—will destroy the other vehicle.”
He should be tried for an attempted murder for this.

And the law of momentum conservation, etc, plus that it's made not to bend on collision.
(Which funnily makes it more deadly on collision with a tree! But safer with car...)
Plus sharp corners/angles = it will just cut pedestrians in half.

@CyberCory @dotstdy And I get that this is why people already buy SUVs, which are more deadly (but "safe" to the owner), especially to pedestrians and kids (visibility) and accountable for a dramatic increase in pedestrian deaths in the US. So we should ban them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@BartWronski @dotstdy I see. Thankyou for sharing the info. Are you located outside the US by chance? I just recently learned about the pedestrian safety laws in regard to vehicles outside the US. Europe seems to take a different approach.

@CyberCory @dotstdy I lived 25y in Europe, now 10+ in North America (Montreal, LA, SF, New York).

IMO, the pedestrian-protecting laws are *stricter* in the US (especially in California and NY). Pedestrian puts their foot on the road? Vehicle must come to an absolute stop, no matter which side of the road.
By comparison, in Poland, till recently, there was not even any priority for pedestrians!
And US drivers are calmer/safer than European ones (don't recommend driving on a German freeway, lol).
