"Ironically pure Capitalism fails for the same reason as pure Socialism.
They both depend upon the better angels of human nature, which often do not appear.
Capitalism depends upon the rich being fair and just even if they don't have to, and Socialism depends upon people working even if they don't have to.
Neither is realistic, or in concert with human nature. The only answer is a combination of both, where market forces are allowed to thrive so long as they're fair and just to the working and poor."

The Rules & who gets to write/enforce them determine the winners & losers
Capital gets a seat at the table for the writing/enforcing, the rest of us are relegated to the free speech zone several miles away
Why do we let people exist/control that much wealth?
Listening to those apologists of wage slavery was agonizing. But I'm glad you suffered through it to at least plant a seed of doubt in the regular watchers of that channel.
