They felt smart for a sec. I’m not up to date on the whole Rowling thing so I won’t respond to that. But its obvious there’s a few crybabies in this thread who are just as bad as the Rowlings and Boeberts of this world cause they will shut down any conversation because they like to assume your intentions. It’s frustrating for sure. My original post just said “can you send me a link?” and I thought to myself, “someone’s just going to tell me I’m arguing in bad faith”, so I immediately edited my comment to add context, ie "I don’t have Twitter and her account shows nothing to me. I read her blurb last year and it seemed reasonable BUT I KNOW IT WAS HER OPINION AND I ONLY SAW ONE SIDE$
Shouldn’t have surprised me that people still downvote me, call me names, and have extreme reactions. I’ve really been hoping that lemmy comments aren’t as toxic as reddit, but here we are.
