In #SFN23 discussions I realized people can have very different definitions of “planning”.

Can we try an experiment? Without looking it up (answers to this post included), can you write down the first definition of “planning” that comes to mind, and then write down your research specialty (if you are a researcher) at the end? There are no wrong answers and anyone can contribute! 🙏

@elduvelle_neuro Second, evaluate possible actions at that state, select and see how state change according to your model of the world. It is possible to also evaluate value of different policies (counterfactual thinking for example) at this step. Repeat these two steps, keep the state transition going in your mind.
