@dyani I really enjoy logging butterflies and insects on the INature App. My library is pretty cool for groups and free events. I found out that ours has a 3D printer and also a kiln.

Volunteering is a cool way to meet people and get out. If you’re into horses there are tons of places that would love help.

I go to classes at the local extension office. There’s been a ton of free gardening lectures and you normally get starts of plants too.

Hiking is pretty cheap and cheerful.

You could also look for any local nature preserves as they usually have a walking trail and sometimes free nature talks and guided walks.

Parks and rec are good for ideas too. Our local swimming pool is $5 a time, but you can stay as long as you want. They also will sometimes have free classes.

Depending on where you are, your local art museum might have free entry (for local residents) or free entry once a month.
