There will be a momentary outage later this evening on Infosec.town while I apply the latest iceshrimp update.

In other news, I am quite excited for iceshrimp.
@jerry so what’s different between fire fish and ice shrimp?
@Lando iceshrimp is a fork of firefish with a lot of performance fixes and some things refactored on the back end that will allow it to scale. It also fixes some bugs with firefish, like translation, some aspects of the mastodon api compatibility (makes mastodon mobile apps work more seamlessly), and perhaps most importantly, it has a vibrant development community rallying around it. Firefish, while not dead, has not been moving fast on fixing known issues or implementing new features.

There is an issue in Settings -> Drive. If I upload an image and later delete it, the used data, shown in Settings -> Drive, includes the size of the deleted image.
I guess that you were already aware of Sharkey which I discovered yesterday.
Was
Iceshrimp an informed decision over Sharkey?

@srijit I was not aware of it. I'll take a look at it. So far, I've been very pleased with the speed of improvements and the willingness to help me out from the iceshrimp team.
