Is the 3080 better than the 4080?

Well for a raw performance the 40 might be a tiny bit better, but the lesser vram is probably more of an issue when gaming. And the price is just crazy

I am considering getting this monster display to replace my current Phillips office monitor:

And I wonder if my 3070 could run it in games at an acceptable framerate…
