“Ireland has long laboured under the misapprehension that because we do not have a consolidated far-right party in the Dáil, there is no need to worry about their rise here in the same way other European countries do. @aral Starting to think if the dream of a ‘global village’ with globalization has helped any of us at all except those who were already ‘rich’ and a few whose lives were made better by crossing borders in the name of work. All we’re seeing is more and more clashes of ideas/cultures/thoughts and rise of extremism (with right-wing parties taking advantage of that) across the globe.
@Deus @aral Coordinated and developed by Putin insulating and elevating his right-wing allies. What they desire most are to declare themselves as free and yet nothing more then puppet populists. With no real sense of culture and tradition. Might as well be my ancestor Andrew Myrick and sustain themselves on a good grass fed diet.
