@schratze my favorite is this referendum question tho: "Are you in favour of admitting thousands of illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa, in line with the forced relocation mechanism imposed by the European bureaucracy?" (https://referendum.gov.pl/referendum2023/en/pytania)

sent by a bureaucracy, somehow still "illegal"!

The results are disheartening. 96.7% said they don't want to take in these immigrants. Such an overwhelming majority.

@jackofalltrades @schratze it's a boycott, not agreement! the referendum got votes from 40% eligible voters, making it non-binding, while the parliament elections got 74%. the difference is voters specifically saying that they don't want a referendum ballot

Without a boycott the results would perhaps not be as pronounced, but "no" would still get the majority, wouldn't it?

@jackofalltrades @schratze more than half voters going voted in the referendum (I assume some haven't heard about the referendum and just got the ballot together with Parliament ones), so pretty surely it would. 2020 Duda vs Trzaskowski was a similarly close and lost battle
