I'm brokenhearted for the five people seriously injured in the knife attack, and desperately hope they all recover, mentally as well as physically.
The 'protests' that have followed seem to be powered entirely by anti-immigration sentiment, despite the fact that the Irish Times reports that the suspect is "a naturalized Irish citizen, who has lived here for 20 years". So perhaps it's unbridled racism instead. Inexcusable.
