Another pre-Thanksgiving win!

We are celebrating alongside U.S. Representative #JaredHuffman, as the Bureau of Land Management (#BLM) has announced their decision to stop using M-44 #CyanideBombs, also known as ejector devices, on BLM lands. This decision follows Huffman's advocacy and legislation efforts, alongside others, to discontinue these devices, which have been harmful to humans, pets, and wildlife.

Senator Jeff Merkley and Congressmen Steve Cohen also expressed their support for the ban, emphasizing the need for more humane predator control methods. The M-44 devices, designed to kill predators like #coyotes, have been criticized for their inhumane and indiscriminate nature. The legislation named "Canyon's Law," led by Huffman, Cohen, and Merkley, seeks to extend this ban to all #PublicLands.
