TODAY: Egg producers LIABLE for price fixing scheme, per new verdict by federal jury.

The 2 top egg producers, Cal Maine and Rose Acre, and 2 top industry groups, were raising and fixing egg prices.

Case now moves to a damages phase.

YES, inflation was partly price gouging.

Unfortunately, it's all going to the biggest & shittiest 'food-stuff' corporations. We may have to wait another decade to "find out" about the recent eggsorbitant shell game.
"The lawsuit, initiated in 2011 by a Kraft Heinz Co. unit, Kellogg Co., General Mills Inc., & Nestle SA, accused the egg producers and trade groups, United Egg Producers and United States Egg Marketers, of engaging in a conspiracy to manipulate egg prices from the late 1990s through at least 2008."
