I know it's difficult because it's happening so frequently now, but never let them normalize attacking hospitals. It is unacceptable to attack patients who are seeking care. It is unacceptable to attack healthcare workers who are doing their jobs to save lives.
@luckytran Is this about Gaza, or did some rightwing nutjob pop off in the US?
@thwaites_awaits @luckytran I was wondering the same. That there are so many possible "they" in that sentence is rather damming about the state of the world.
@thwaites_awaits @luckytran
I thought it was about UKgov & the NHS

@luckytran

We let them get away with about 1200 attacks on healthcare facilities up to October 1st.

Russian strikes on hospitals during the Russian invasion of Ukraine - Wikipedia

There are so many now, there were so many then. There are always so many. It *is* normal. War is butchery. Wars are not noble, right, fair or humane ever. Supplying the weapons of war to others is not humane either. Wars are won by terrorising or murdering the opposition until they surrender or until they are gone. I don't know how to fix it, but millenia of "the rules of war" are not working.
@luckytran
What troubles me is that healthcare workers started firing on people outside of the hospital.

@luckytran No one Is attacking patients.

Why aren't you calling for the terrorist not to use hospitals as shields? Are you saying that is perfectly okay?

Do you condemn Russia for attacking schools and hospitals? I can't seem to find those posts.

The UN has already stated that if a hospital is being used by combatants it is a legitimate target. You should speak to HAMAS.

Israel has been forced to live with daily rocket fire and suicide attacks for 16 years. Hamas will be destroyed.
