@capndesign I am shocked how many companies and organizations don't do any sort of verification before just adding an email address to an account and sending out all kinds of personal stuff.
More than once I have had a heck of a time fighting with AT&T to remove my email from an account that isn't mine and stop sending me all the other Tim's account notices. 🤦
