1/ In PUBLIC HEALTH, population wellbeing is our business, therefore:

Education is our business.
The environment is our business.
Poverty is our business.
Discrimination is our business.
War & violence are our business.

So holding politics to account is absolutely our business.

2/ We shouldn’t be afraid of labels like ‘woke’ or ‘being political’.

Our job is not to be ‘impartial’.

I am partial to acting on what facilitates or blocks population wellbeing, whether locally, nationally or globally.

The factors above are evidence-based health shapers.

@nisreen
Exactly!

For the same reason, I bristle at the phrase "It's just business". As if it's rational that decisions are made solely on one party's financial benefit - with no consideration for other factors or other people.
