For this week's #SeiyuuSaturday, we'll be looking at #MiyuTomita (b. 1999), who began voice acting in 2015 at only 16.

We start off in 2016 where Tomita voiced the book lover Otako in #pleaseteachmegalkochan. One of Galko's best friends, Otako could often be snarky in the way only Tomita can provide but still had a strong sense of friendship with someone she never expected to like.

In 2018, Tomita became an ordinary citizen of the dark as the vampire Sophie in #tonarinokyuuketsukisan. A doll-like vampire who finds herself becoming involved with humans, Sophie is another typical Tomita role, albeit lighter on the snark and more emphasizing her distance from the world, even as it slowly decreases due to her interactions with Akari and others.

2019 saw Tomita in another CGDCT, this time becoming a gamer in #afterschooldiceclub. As Midori, a class rep and game store worker, she served to introduce our other main characters to the world of board games while also developing her own character and skills as a game developer. Tomita's usual snark is in Midori, but tempered with a warmth and passion for making the most exciting game she can create.

In 2020, Tomita took a trip to another world as Shuri in #kumakumakumabear. The younger sister to Fina, Shuri found herself tagging along with Yuna and their various adventurers. While the cute imouto type of role is a departure for Tomita, she still makes it her own and the most adorable she can possibly be.
@AWanderingSorcerer I recall liking the first season of #KumaKumaKumaBear quite a bit but not the second season. Not sure why, maybe a rewatch from the start when I’m in the right mood would work.
@arcadiagt5 I liked the seasons equally. If I had to speculate, one noteworthy difference is that Yuna spends less time with established relationships than she does in Season 1.
