What is Glasgow's shortest Street?

Well, here's the six shortest I could find (measurements from Google Earth).

Top Left: Stair Street, Maryhill 71 Metres.

Top Middle: Clayslaps Road, Kelvingrove, 61 Metres.

Top Right: Clairmont Place, 52 Metres.

Bottom Left: Toll Lane, Kinning Park, 42 Metres.

Bottom Middle: Ristol Road,  Scotstounhill, 30 Metres.

Bottom Right: Sorley Street, Partick, 17 to 22 Metres (depending on how it's measured).

@thisismyglasgow Is there anything on Stair St apart from stairs?
@bodhipaksa Stair Street officially carries on above the stairs to meet the next street up the hill (Kelvinside Drive?), but the stairs are the only feature on it.
@thisismyglasgow I like this game! I make London Lane about 32 m and Aird's Lane about 38 m (both per OpenStreetMap with the NLS measuring tools).

@ncdominie I checked Aird's Lane myself earlier, but didn't know about London Lane, so thanks for that. I have found Lauder Street off Eglinton Street which comes out at about 22m, making it a similar length to Sorley Street in Partick, and might actually be a tiny bit shorter.

The weird thing is that so many people believe Clayslaps Road is the shortest, when it is no where near it. It seems to be quite a persistant Glasgow Myth.

@thisismyglasgow Good catch! I suspect areas that have been rebuilt and generally mucked about with are a good hunting ground for these wee stumps of streets *plots further mapwrangling...*
@ncdominie Definitely. The stump streets seem to be the most fertile hunting ground, but be warned, it can become quite addictive! 🤣
