I'm over my self-pitying rant.

I will stop reading comments before I stop posting.

I think, though, that helping people understand the First Amendment issues at stake in the gag orders is less important than helping people understand that the real danger to democracy is misinformation and disinformation, and these things cannot be fixed through the legal system.

@Teri_Kanefield people also get triggered for some reason when you tell them that the solution to ending extremism is to vote, keep voting, and don’t stop. Vote in every election from school board to president. Do. Not. Stop! This is how we save democracy. Trials won’t save it.

They want us to give up, that’s the entire game plan.

@Teri_Kanefield ending extremism is probably the wrong word. More like ending what feels like a never ending electoral nightmare where the wrong people end up in office.
