I'm over my self-pitying rant.

I will stop reading comments before I stop posting.

I think, though, that helping people understand the First Amendment issues at stake in the gag orders is less important than helping people understand that the real danger to democracy is misinformation and disinformation, and these things cannot be fixed through the legal system.

@Teri_Kanefield Appreciate and respect level heads like your own in times like these. The authoritarians and extremists here and abroad ramping up disinformation campaigns trying to influence our upcoming elections and exhaust us. We MUST be prepared to deal with that reality and deflect/reject it. Don’t waste precious energy reacting to pundits and 24/7 analysis. Supporting democracy our best investment and #1 priority. Critical.
