@zackery I rinse mine off with the rest of the press. Each filter gets a bunch of uses before it's clearly degraded (more if it's a fine grind, fewer if it's coarse).

@zackery @ozdreaming Sadly, Alan Adler (AeroPress inventor) actually advised people to do this (and it was in the product manual) for the first 10+ years of the AeroPress' existence. I don't know if is still in the manual.

End of the day: horrible advice.

@coffeegeek @zackery I do get better results from a fresh filter (but I still like to do it). I'd still appreciate a boost for more survey participation!
