I've been reading Privacy and Freedom by Alan Westin and I am genuinely upset by our lack of respect for privacy these days and how badly that's being exploited by companies.

No, I don't trust your company to safely store my biometrics nor do I want to deal with the fallout when you get breached. The book is making me a cynical geezer

@bashbunni I will definitely have to take a look at this! I have been reading The Chaos Machine for a look into the lack of accountability in Big Tech and so far the book has been EXTREMELY jarring as an engineer.
