What particular internet shorthand phrases are still interesting to you, and why?

For me "lol" will always rhyme with 'droll' and express the same kind of quiet amusement. is it really ".. out loud"? no I don't think so. Especially works well when combined with "lmao"

And I've always loved the gamerspeak "kk". You're too lazy to type two different keys in order to agree, but a single "k" is so abrupt and short, you need to hit the key twice to indicate that you agree in a friendly way.
