@pluralistic elephants are awesome, I wish they weren't that party's symbol.
@geographile Even better are unhinged medieval drawings of elephants based on third-hand descriptions!
@pluralistic there are a lot of good reasons to believe in monsters, and medieval Europe's illustrations of animals they haven't seen are definitely one of them.
@geographile @pluralistic could you share with me some examples of that kind of drawings?
