Searching for a self-hostable podcast manager - Sopuli

Are there any good server-based podcast managers out there? I am particularly interested in these features: * Follow podcast feeds * Stream podcasts in the browser * Remember where I paused across devices * Also works on mobile via web or app

audiobookshelf

Self-hosted audiobook and podcast server

I second AudioBookShelf. Although I don’t use it for podcasts, I use it for audiobooks, but it does do all the things you mentioned.
Waaaaaait I’ve never thought of using it for podcasts. Been using Pocket Cast but maybe I should take a look.
I haven’t used it in about a year, but I had to stop because eventually any podcast feed would just stop working.
+1 audiobookshelf. I use for audiobooks and podcast and it just works.

If you already have it, it looks like Plex can do it with channels1867.rssing.com/…/all_p107.html It’ll probably get you most of those features, though it probably won’t be as nice as something purpose built. But if you already have Plex it might be nice to have all your stuff in one place. Alternatively you could probably setup something to download podcasts to your server into a folder that Plex watches.

github.com/joshwbrick/podsumer?ref=selfh.st was featured on selfh.st this week. Can’t say I know a great deal about it, but might be worth checking out.

I didn't know github.com had referral links now!
I use github.com/akhilrex/podgrab with audiobookshelf

I have no idea about podcasts. But since no one mentioned it yet, perhaps take a look at Funkwhale. It’s a decentralised platform, like Lemmy, for music and podcasts.

I use Gpoddersync on Nextcloud as the subscription/watched service, Kasts as the desktop app and Antennapod for Android. I think there’s a Podder webapp for Nextcloud that uses the sync data as well, but I’ve never used it.
