@jillithd @Missrdevine @EllenInEdmonton I agree. More than making him a villain, which is already really bad because it fuels stereotypes and homophobia, it bothered me that they made him incapable of loving someone in a healthy way.
He was totally fine while the person he loved was living in a daily hell because of what he did. So not only did he killed the girl and stay silent when everyone was blaming the ex, but he spent years without a shred of guilt.
@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] Yes, All of that was true. I was honestly so focussed on the main couple and their story that I didn't focus much on that, mainly thought it was an interesting plot twist. But definitely, his sexuality was misused for the sake of a story.
