Trump doesn't need anyone's help to aspire to be an authoritarian asshole, he's quite capable of doing it on his pathological narcissist own.
The only pattern that is clear is Trump wants to be a dictator just like his idol Putin and Putin sees advantage for himself with Trump in power.
Trump’s massive ego both precludes his being recruited and obviates the need to recruit him.
Flattery mixed in with a suggestion here and there is more than sufficient to get Putin what he wants.
There's just no need to construct conspiracy theories of Trump as an intelligence asset of Russia.
@joeinwynnewood theres plenty of evidence. and evidence beats theory. and a "conspiracy theory" alone is not an inherently made-up thing if there is an actual conspiracy. they do happen. and in Trump's case is evidence of it

By all means, please do present said evidence I am apparently ignorant of despite paying pretty close attention to both political and current events on a daily basis.
I've seen nothing in Trump's behavior nor evidence presented in Mueller's investigation, two congressional impeachments and two federal indictments to support a formal intelligence relationship between Moscow and Trump.
