LesyaI don’t remember the exact date as I moved servers in the very beginning, but one of these days marks my first #mastodon anniversary. I still have to run around different social media like a headless chicken to stay in touch with friends, but Masto is my one and only regular shitposting spot now. @Erased_Citizen I also have Threads and Bluesky, but Threads is an unusable portal to hell and Bluesky is dead. Masto feels more like early Twitter, may it rest in peace… poor birdeh.
@nemelle I’ve not even considered joining Threads, and Bluesky the same. I think I'm happy with this, I'd agree that it is like early Twitter, unencumbered by advertising and commercial considerations
@Erased_Citizen On Threads you can see anyone but people you actually follow. No shit. No way to get rid of annoying influencers clogging your timeline to death.
