Like *obviously*, the point is for more people to have good things (such as me still having a railcard for example), not the opposite. But what.do.you.mean, if you gave a travel partner you get a discount, otherwise get fucked? In what possible world is that fair?

What really bothers me is, when I aged out of the 18-25 railcard, there was lots of uproar about how things were simply not good enough for my generation to justify paying full price, and the 26-30 was brought in as a response.

No peep of that now, but are things any better? If I hadn't made the painful decision to leave higher ed, I would be making less in real terms now than I was at the time. What gives?
