@chris Spuds in my supermarket are up 40%. Can't believe for a second farmers or farm workers are getting 40% more for their work/product.
@SonofaGeorge I am actually surprised we haven't seen a big spike in housing foreclosures. That has to be coming soon.
@chris I predicted foreclosures and bankruptcies would spike in early 2021, but I was wrong: CERB etc here really helped avoid that. But you're right - inflation and especially > in mortgage rates will do it. I have friends on the legal side of that and they're expecting it in the New Year.
@chris @graydon Sounds like Australia. I'm very suspicious about some of the huge rises at restaurants etc.
@chris The competition bureau is toothless. There are only three grocery chains left, only two pharmacies, only one bookstore, etc.
