TL;DR much more fascinating to me to read her as intersex genderfluid, especially when taking her two hearts as symbolic/literal rather than binary. She literally says (paraphrased) "I don't know if I'm a man or woman, I'm just Sapphire."

Unfortunately I still won't have much time to a) look for images to show "evidence" for a headcanons and b) rewrite it better, now that I know more. Like, there are demigenders now??? I Don't Get The Further Narrowing but hey, whatever floats people's boat. Kinda fits her.

Genderflux is unironically closer to some of Tezuka's sudden plot writing lmao, also cool name tbh.

But yeah, I still like my headcanon :v
