Just out of curiosity — and I suspect I'm being fanciful here — would it be possible for the successful defendant in a libel case to sue the lawyers and/or their client for libel after causing the publication of letters making false allegations leading to reputational damage and financial loss (cost of defence + loss of earnings)?
