What other places have really good discussions on online privacy? - lemm.ee

I’m specifically looking for forums related to privacy like this one where people discuss online privacy.

Some discussion here community.mojeek.com

I was never a fan of the privacyguides forums—too much bickering and infighting—and others use Telegram or Discord and that’s a no for me.

A lot of privacy communities are interrelated and collaborate often. Usually people don’t need anything more than PrivacyGuides.

Though, other ones like The New Oil exist (note that the only forum-like community they have is Reddit). Here are their communities:

Techlore forum is a thing as well, but I can’t talk about quality of the discussions there because I wasn’t participating in it.

Personally, I would never be tired of stopping reminding people not to jump into the rabbit hole and go full tin foil hat. Do one step at a time, engage with the community every now and then, but watch out for the moment when you become obsessed with that stuff.
