Microreview and one spin verdict on #GreenLung's "This Heathen Land":
Now that was a surprise!
The album sounds like the successor of Opus Eponymous if Ghost would have stayed with the doomy old-school metal and discovered the woods.
All in all a great album, 4 out of 5 witches dancing around a bonfire in the middle of Fangorn Forest.

It's very well done, but clearly I need more than one listen. My first impression is that I should like it more than I do. 🤔
I can see the resemblance with Ghost though (who I also like *up to a point*).
But the vocals really remind me of Mike Patton on Album of the Year era Faith No More.
