California since 2017 has spent more than $4 million of taxpayer money on surgical sex changes and cosmetic "gender-affirming" enhancements for 157 inmates, including 4 on death row, according to records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
So maybe that should be the focus of the article instead of demonizing trans people.
I think it’s more critical of how the politicians have decided to spend tax payer money, and how there haven’t been any guardrails put in place to prevent male prisoners from abusing this program and transferring to female prisons to sexually assault them.
Then that should be the content of this article. Don’t worry, we’ll get there.
